Chaining up John Stacey's yardLocal contractors John Stacey's were visited by Block the Builders in April. The company is doing a lot of work for AWE's new developments. Their main yard was chained shut and kept closed for around 40 minutes before workers liberated themselves with a large pair of boltcutters!

Sign says it allAround 400 weapons inspectors descended on AWE in November 2006 as part of a Greenpeace-organised event. "Improved" signs were deposited around the perimeter, explaining the real nature of AWE.
