January 14th: 'Return to Sender' action.

Saturday January 14th (camp weekend), 12 noon

A seasonal 'Return to Sender' action: all welcome.

We will return the 'gift' of a very big Trident submarine back to AWE at main gate and demand economic and moral alternatives - such as hospitals, free education and disability benefits. A safe,non-violent but creative action ... please add your own ideas.

Suggestions for those taking part:

Please dress up in any seasonal outfit or hat you like

Bring placards, or big boxes wrapped as presents, that demand alternatives (or reasons why Trident isn't acceptable) ... the more puns the better.

Maybe New Year resolutions will feature?

Bring ribbon to tie up presents and .....hmmm...

MUSIC NEEDED : any abilities to play or otherwise transmit 'Return to Sender' during the action? Please come forward and let us know. 

Details of submarine route depend somewhat on the weather - find us at camp at the fence of AWE between Aldermaston and Tadley (340 gate) or between there and the site of the action at AWE main gate.
